Science Program

Science is an ever-evolving field that encompasses everything from the smallest atoms to the largest galaxies; it has the power to explain the world around us, solve problems, and create new technologies. If you aspire for any of the STEAM careers, the study of science in High School becomes mandatory.

At Logix Engine, our expert tutors help students discover and learn the basic concepts of science, and practice solving science-based problems. We work with your child in a paced and interactive manner, ensuring learner engagement and progress.

Enjoy hands-on learning and fun experiences via our STEM Clubs, develop stronger foundations with our program designed for Middle School, and work in a systematized manner on the three areas of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at high school.

Primary School

These sessions are designed for primary school students. We embark on an exciting journey to unravel the mysteries of the natural world, making science both engaging and accessible. Our goal is to foster a deep-seated love for science, while simultaneously building a strong foundation in scientific concepts. Through interactive learning, hands-on experiments, and thought-provoking discussions, we aim to ignite curiosity and critical thinking, The course of instruction is aligned to the KS1/KS2 curriculum outline within the British National Curriculum specifications.

Middle School

The principle focus of science in KS3 is on developing a deeper understanding of a range of ideas across the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They are encouraged to relate scientific explanations to varied phenomenon in the real world context, use modelling and abstract ideas to develop and evaluate explanations. Our teachers are equipped not only to deliver the content, but also handhold students in developing their scientific vocabulary and articulating scientific concepts with clarity and precision.

Grade 9-10

The KS4 science curricula is a 2-year program that covers Physics, Chemistry and Biology either as separate sciences, or as a Combined Science course. It is designed to be challenging and rewarding , providing students with a strong foundation for further study at A-Level, and beyond. Our program enables students to develop the acument to acquire the conceptual knowledge and apply it in the relevant context. Our program equips students with the ability to analyse and evaluate based on previous knowledge. The course of instruction is aligned with the KS4 curriculum guideline within the British National Curriculum specifications.

Grade 11-12

Science in KS5 is more specialized and students may select one or more of  Physics, Chemistry and Biology – students are expected to delve deeper into scientific concepts compared to KS4, with a focus on advanced theories, practical applications, and research skills. Our program supports students in gaining a deeper understanding of scientific concepts, while guiding them towards strengthening exam techniques. It equips them with the ability to analyse and evaluate based on previous knowledge. The course of instruction is aligned with the KS5 curriculum guideline within the British National Curriculum specifications.
